Being a trusted confidante as my clients tap into their wholeness aligns with my life’s mission:
To be a leader to affect change for the betterment of others.
This is why I do this work.
The common theme throughout my several careers — teaching, business management, and launching my own coaching business—has been my deep commitment to people development.
I bring my whole self into deep transformative work. This commitment engenders trust from my clients as they change their mindsets, behaviors, and internal mental muscles.
Through facilitating various community development projects in the Memphis region over 20 years, I unleashed strengths previously untapped, at both the individual and group levels. I bring innovative approaches in both my coaching and consulting work, always with sensitivity to the sacredness of transformative inner work.
Although I frequently work both with men and women, I particularly desire to support women who are committed to making a difference. After being the only woman in many work situations, I am attuned to the experience of hyper-achieving women who may be dealing with burnout, and giving away so much of themselves to their mission. Not only their work but personal health and relationships are being negatively impacted.
I know what is at stake. Thirty years ago, I reluctantly went to a meditation retreat. At the time, I was a workaholic — driving for results. My department had been dramatically downsized, and I was angry. For the first time in my life, I entered into deep reflection about who I was and what was important to me. This commitment to inner work has never wavered.
My work in the world continues to be enhanced through my on-going journey to be in alignment with my authentic self.
